Conclusions:
Huawei is attempting to enter the mid level price point, phone market along with the Asus Zenfone 2 and the Alcatel One Touch. The P8 Lite is a very nice looking phone with decent battery life and camera. The Huawei does everything well and the phone is a treat to use with the EMUI 3.1 UI. The Ulefone Be Touch 2 is an incredible phone. The phone comes with a Sony 13MP Camera, Coring Gorilla Glass 3 and a great front facing fingerprint scanner. The Mediatek MTK6752 Octa Core, 1.7GHz CPU with the 3GB RAM is as powerful a $230 price phone that there is. Everything is done precisely with the newest flagship of the Ulefone brand. Conclusions:
This is by far one of the nicest looking China phones available. Cubot has copied the look of the Sony Xperia and upgraded the RAM and ROM. The phone says it is waterproof but it is only water resistant. It includes an older Mediatek CPU but it preformance of the CPU is great. The GPS, video gaming and web browsing experience is wonderful. It also includes an IR blaster which works perfectly. The newest upstart Chinese phone company Mlais, is ready to unveil their newest phone. The company which has recently had successful launches of the M52, M4 and the powerhorse Mlais M7. This time they are releasing their first 5" smartphone, which ships preinstalled with Android Lollipop 5.1.
Mlais are having a suprise flash sale for the price tag of only $99US. Each store will be selling only 20 phones at this special pricetag each day. Below are links to each store selling this phone for the price of $99US. The phones will go on sale each day at July 1 at 10 AM GMT. This should be at 8am EST each day ( but these websites have never been consistent with their start times for sales) starting on Canada Day. The promotion will expire on July 10th.

The dual Sim card Mlais MX comes in three colors. These colors are black, white and green. The phone houses a MTK6735 64bit Quad Core CPU to go with the 720p resolution on the 5" screen. The quad-core processor clocks at a decent 1.3 GHz. The model comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Mlais has so far (on its previous phones) unfortunately, broken up this 16GB internal storage into two partitions. It is not known yet whether this is also done on the Mlais MX. But you are able to increase the internal storage up to 64GB with a microSD card.

Mlais MX includes 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with Glonass support, WiFi with many other features. This phone is one of first phones to include an infrared, remote control sensor which allows to control your home electronics effortlessly. 

The most impressive feature of this phone is the huge 4300mAh battery.  This battery should easily last a heavy phone user for at least a day and a half. Bluboo was the first to create an amazing battery life for a phone, with the Bluboo X550. The Bluboo X550 is a great low cost phone. The phone boasts a huge 5300mAh battery. The phone 

comes preinstalled with Android Lollipop 5.1. It has a beautiful, smooth interface on the Bluboo operating system.  The screen resolution is only 720p, but the display is bright with vibrant colors. The phone includes notification LED for all incoming messages and phone calls. The off-screen gestures and unlock options work very well. The 8.0MP camera takes surprisingly, very nice pictures. Bluboo X550 Camera Samples Here The phone uses MTK6735 64bit Quad core CPU processor with 2GB RAM. The Mediatek CPU provides a great phone for gaming. There is zero lag running all the newest games. It provides very nice sound quality when using the headphone jack. USB OTG also works as advertised. Phone quality is great. The sound is loud and clear. Web browsing is a very enjoyable experience. Scrolling and zooming is done perfectly with the Bluboo. The battery life is simply amazing for this phone. The phone easily provides 16 hour of on screen time. There is no phone which comes even close to this. 

Negatives:
The Bluboo X550 scores a low score of 20000 on AnTuTu. Even with this score, there is no problem with gaming on the phone. The GPS is only average, since it doesn't have Glonass support. The phone storage is split into two partitions, it is always better for the consumer when all the 16GB is available for use. The phone does support up to a 64GB microSD card to improve the storage limitations. There is no backlight for the buttons at the bottom of the phone. The phone is a little thicker and heavier than most new phones due to the battery. The heaviness is a nice trade off for the battery life that is provided. 


Conclusions:
You can not a buy a better phone for battery life. It is unheard of a phone being able to provide a 16 hours on screen time but this phone easily provides it. The phone overcomes the newest CPU heavy games because of the 2GB RAM with the MTK6735 CPU. Everything is done very well with the Bluboo X550. This phone looks and feels like a premium phone. It comes with 5.5 inch SHARP screen with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, 403PPI. It has brilliant picture with wonderful colors, which is made with Gorilla Glass 3. The phone comes pre-installed with a very smooth interface on Android Lollipop 5.0. It includes both notification and backlights. The LeTv includes numerous customizable themes. There are some very creativity camera options and features from the lockscreen. There are numerous Chinese and English free streaming videos. The WiFi is one of the strongest receptions on any phone. The CPU is one of the most powerful with the Mediatek MTK6795 Helio X10, Cortex A53 Octa Core, 64-bit up to 2.0GHz. There is a large single partition for phone storage. Negatives:
The backside of the phone is surprisingly plastic. The notification lights are low in color, which makes it difficult to see in sunlight. There is some bloatware on the phone. Some menu need to be changed to English, as they are set to Chinese.

The Mlais M7 includes a fingerprint ID  touch scanner, the scanner works great.  It does a wonderful job of unlocking the phone. The Mlais M7 has a dual standby SIM cards, which work with 4G LTE. It includes backlight buttons, which glow nicely even in bright sunlight. The phone comes with Gorilla Glass 3 which is unbreakable and unscratchable. The phone includes 3GB of RAM, which allows for heavy multitasking to be completely seemless. There is absolutely no problems running the newest video games on the CPU. Web browsing is both quick and scrolling is easy. USB OTG works very well. The Sony IMX135 13.0MP takes very beautiful pictures. Camera Sample Pictures with the Mlais M7 is here. Phone calling quality is both clear and loud. The AnTuTu score of the Mlais M7 is an unbelievable high 48000. 

Negatives:
The fingerprint scanner is located on the back of the phone. I've always found it easier to use the fingerprint scanner on the front of the phone. The phone comes with 16GB of internal storage but Mlais have partitioned it into two seperate partitions. The rear speaker is only adequate. GPS and WiFi range are okay. There is no notification light to display an incoming message. The battery is okay with about 5-6 hours of on-screen time.  

Conclusion:
This is an amazing phone at a budget price. Mlais has included a Sony camera sensor, Gorilla glass 3 and a metal frame in a phone, which goes on sale for as low as $159US. Attempt to use the coupon code RMNTGB or M7GB at Gearbest for a lower price.

Introduction

I was very excited about the new wave of MTK6732 phones being released.  Ulefone Be Pro is my first opportunity to try the new processor with a lot of high expectations for such a resonably priced alternative to the OnePlus One.

Unboxing
The Ulefone Be Pro came from GearBest. It contained a white Ulefone box with the phone, earphones, a microUSB cable and a charger.

Hardware
The Ulefone Be Pro measures at 157 x 77.8 x 8.8mm. It weights only 166g.

There is a wonderful silver bezel around  the phone.. The front of the phone has the 8MP front facing camera as well as 3 Android buttons at the base of the phone. Unfortunately, these buttons do not light up. The power button is on the right side of the bezel and the left side of the phone contains the volume button.  The speaker is located the back of the phone near the bottom. Inside the back removal plate of the phone contains a SIM card, MicroSim Card and the slot for a MicroSD card. The battery is a little disappointing rating at 2600mAh. A positive is that it is removable and can be upgraded, if you would like. The back plate has unfortunately a plasticy feel to it and seemed to easily collect fingerprints during my time with it.

The feel of the 5.5" phone inside my hands was amazing. The arched back plate sits very nicely inside the palm of my hand.

Picture Quality
Be Pro features a 1280x720 resolution on the 5.5" display. . The colors seem quite accurate and bright. If you are looking for 1080p resolution in your phone than this phone probably won't be up to your standards. I personally would rather have a longer battery life on my phone running 720p. A display of 720p is more than most people would require from a phone. The specs state that it contains an  IPS panel with One Glass Solution technology which came from LG. This phone is very bright.





Speaker Quality
I was quite impressed at the speaker quality from this phone. It's not the loudest speaker but the sound is very clear, even at the highest volume. The AUX input was one thing I didn't much care for. It seems to be deeper than most AUX inputs, as my ipod cables wouldn't stay connected.


Battery

The battery lasted about 6 hours of constant web browsing while using a program called Web Reloader. This is a very decent rating for a 2600mAh battery. It definitely isn't the greatest but it is far from the worst. Video playback lasted approximately 9 hours. A regular day with WIFI, GPS and data turned on while answering phone calls,  the battery shines at well over 17 hours before a recharge. A charging of the phone takes only an amazingly short two hours to charge. The new more powerful MTK6592 processor definitely helps the battery life of the Ulefone Be Pro.


Software
The Ulefone Be Pro runs a 100% Android 4.4.4. Ulefone has a video showing the Be Pro running 5.0 Lollipop but as of press time, it has not released it to the public. 

Performance

The 2G Ram with Mali T-760 graphics card had no problem running high powered Android games such as Real Racing 3. The game never stuttered and looked wonderful on the 720p display. 

I obtained a score of 32104 on Antutu. Which is decent for a sub $200US phone.

I received 4G almost immediately with this phone in Onatario, Canada. I've never lost signal. Very impressive.

WiFi was also great, as I was able to get reception everywhere inside the house and my work office. 

My GPS signal locked on immediately with no signal loss, even inside the house.

Camera
I was a little disappointed with the low light pictures taken with the Ulefone. Boasting a 13MP camera, I was just hoping for a little better. All pictures come out clear but the color doesn't shine like it does on my Iphone5. This was expected when the phone only costs $150US but was a disappointment. Fortunately, the phone's picture quality shines on high light pictures. Outdoor pictures with the sun, the picture quality is fantastic.

This is a great phone for the price. I've had no complains on the phone quality or reception. Games experience was excellent. The battery life was very decent with the opportunity to upgrade batteries, if you so choose. The phone feels great in my hands and looks very sleek and stylist. Definitely worth the $150
